The right to arm bears

In recent times, many US states have attempted to enact laws to limit people’s ability to own and carry firearms. Just last week we played in Kennesaw, GA, and discovered to our surprise and delight that not only are there virtually no gun control laws in the town, but it is against the law not to own a gun.
And this law is no remnant from the 19th century; it was enacted in 1982, when, according to the NY Times, “sentiment for gun control appeared to be growing in some parts of the country.”
